New York Fashion Week is well under way and there is no shortage of trends starting to pop up at all the shows and in the streets of New York. One beauty trend making a statement is the color orange. Orange lips were on most of the models at the Rag & Bone show. Dark skin, light skin and bronze skin - all shades had the bright matte painted orange lip on the runway. Scoot down to the Suno show and orange painted nails were also the highlight. The color of choice was Maybelline Orange Fix.
This citrus colour is not for the shy and introverted. Wear this and you'll have all eyes on you everywhere you go.

Anyone who loves shoes knows how sexy woman feels wearing a pair of red-soled Christian Louboutin heels. Now there is a trend that has women wearing Louboutin inspired manicures. Nails are polished with a red underside and black coat on top. A freshly lacquered polish like this will sure have people talking and noticing your nails.
Fashion has a way of infiltrating all parts of our culture. With the London 2012 Olympic games just around the corner, beauty salons are finding an interesting way of getting you into the spirit of the games. Nail art. Check out some of these interesting patterns fashioned after the Olympic logo and using various colors symbolizing the countries from around the world.
During the games CND Shellac manicures and pedicures will be offered in the Olympic and Paralympic Villages. The brand will be set up and offering services to the athletes during the span of the games. CND Shellac has two Olympic themed designs. Olympic Gold, which is glittery and red with Olympic rings and Olympic Spirit which has the rings in the signature colors.
