Isaac Mizrahi Designing for Chevy

Although my 1998 Chevy Malibu is long gone to the scrapyard it have me a life full of over 365, 000 KM before it let me down.  It was a great car that took me many places.  While looking for new cars I have often said that if I buy another American car it would definitely be another Chevy Malibu.  Especially since the newer models look sleeker and sexier.

Imagine the excitement when I learned this morning that General Motors announced that they have teamed up with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi to create it's next model.  Women's Wear Daily reported today that GM and Mizrahi are collaborating on a capsule collection for 2013.  It's a limited edition model so you'll have to get them quickly before they are gone.  Due this fall, the debut will be on LivingSocial and ChebyMalibuStyle.com.

Mizrahi told WWD, "If you look at the car, there are certain angles, lines and thoughts that evoke ideas about clothes. There is this incredible blue light in the car, which is already inspiring me."  The designer will also be promoting the car on his Facebook page.

I can't wait to see what the car is going to look like.
